Dr. Robert Applebaum

Owner & Medical Director

Dr. Robert Applebaum is an oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Florida Eye Specialists and Cataract Institute in Tampa, FL. He also serves as a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the James A. Haley VA Eye Clinic. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida.

He then completed a fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the J. Justin Older Eyelid Institute in Tampa, FL. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). Dr. Applebaum’s practice involves a mix of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the eyes and face. Performing both functional and cosmetic surgeries, along with a constant pursuit of education, has allowed Dr. Applebaum to continuously improve his abilities in both aspects of his practice and to provide the highest quality of care to all of his patients.

Dr. Applebaum’s particular interest in cosmetics led him to the idea of opening a separate facility devoted solely to this concept. He also wanted to be sure that this facility would provide only the highest quality and most effective procedures to his patients and clients. This idea led to the development and opening of Pommier Med Spa.

Through extensive research, Dr. Applebaum has selected only the highest quality and most effective treatments for his clients and has selected the highest quality, most well educated, and most caring providers to perform these treatments.

Cancellation Policy

At Pommier Med Spa, we value your time and commitment to prioritizing your beauty and wellness needs. As a result, we have implemented a Cancellation policy that helps us manage our appointments efficiently and ensures that our clients receive the highest quality service.

Effective 10/1/24 our cancellation policy has changed.

1. Credit Card on File:

To secure your appointment, a credit card number will be required at the time of booking. We will retain this information for potential service charges aquired due to cancellations or appointment rescheduling with less than 24 hour notice.

2. Rescheduling:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, necessitating a change in your appointment. We kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment to make any changes. Any changes requested within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in a 50% charge of the service.

3. Cancellation:

At Pommier Med Spa, we allow cancellation requests that are 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a 50% charge of the service. Cancelling less than 24 hours in advance does not allow us sufficient time to reallocate the time slot to another client, resulting in lost opportunities for our staff and inconvenience for others seeking our services.

4. No-shows:

In the event of a no-show, where a client fails to cancel or reschedule their appointment without any prior notice, a 50% charge of the service will be made.

By booking an appointment at Pommier Med Spa and providing the required credit card information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by our Cancellation policy stated above. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide exceptional services to all our valued clients. If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding our Cancellation policy, please feel free to contact our reception team.
