Are there any treatment instructions for Juvéderm?

Our expert injectors will provide all instructions for pre and post-treatment care. Instructions may include:

• Avoiding saunas and hot showers immediately before and 24-48 hours after treatment
• Avoiding exercise that may raise blood pressure and lead to swelling and bruising for 48 hours after treatment
• Avoiding sun exposure without sunscreen
• Avoiding makeup application for 12-48 hours after treatment
• Avoid massaging the treated area for at least 2 weeks
  

Who is not a good candidate for Juvéderm injectables?

Juvéderm should not be given if you have a history of allergic reactions to Juvéderm including anaphylaxis, if you are allergic to Lidocaine, or if you are allergic to gram-positive bacterial proteins used to make Hyaluronic Acid.
